You, my little cherub, are one month old today. Motherhood may not have turned out to be what I had anticipated, but you my darling daughter are everything and more. Nothing could have prepared me for how much I love you right now. I can't stop kissing your chubby cheeks, I can't stop stroking your lustrous hair, I can't stop looking at you - your black eyes, your long lashes, your perfectly formed fingers and toes, I can't stop watching you stretch your torso and each and every one of your limbs after a sleep. Even when you cry, I pause to watch you crunch up your perfect face.And here is a photo of your mum when she was one month old.
