Things to make the heart sing

There are many lovely little things in life that make my heart sing. Tonight, though, it's two things - the freshness of asparagus lightly steamed and tossed in parmesan, garlic and olive oil over spaghetti...

... and a snuggle on the couch with the still quite old-fashioned New YorkTimes on Sunday.
