Quickly jumping in...

... to say she's not here yet. I went in yesterday for a membrane sweep and the consultant discovered that the cervix is soft, that I'm 2cm dilated, and that her head could be felt. What I'd thought were Braxton Hicks contractions over the last few days have actually been real contractions. They checked her heart rate and movements for 3 hours and were happy she is well. They did the sweep anyway, which have made me feel like I'm having mild period cramps and aches, and they have booked me in for an induction on the 14th in case labour progresses too slowly. In the meantime, I am trying to balance keeping mobile and upright with getting enough rest. I never thought I would ever say this, but I am actually trying to will on the pain so that I can actually feel that things are progressing quickly!

Please send me loads of labour vibes.

Good luck, good luck! When the pain hits, try and think of how beautiful it will be when your little girl finally arrives - keep the endorphins going and the pain won't feel so bad!

Hey PH, so what's happening ? Do a small post or note ! Or ask M to do a guest post, please? I'm guessing (and hoping) that the labor vibes coming your way have finished doing their job.
