I've bought the first things for the baby. These are from
Green Baby in Islington. When I looked at them hanging up in the store, I thought they were far too small. And then I placed them over my belly and realised,
My goodness, babies really are very tiny aren't they! Tomorrow, we order the bigger things... Bugaboo Bee, Maxi Cosi car seat, moses basket, changing unit, Baby Einstein activity mat, basic cotton clothing and sheets etc. But just to prove to ourselves we still have a life outside of pregnancy and babies, we have a list of art galleries we want to visit too. Just like the old days, but then, not quite... Life has changed.

I can definitely see the List for Baby growing longer and the List of Galleries gathering dust.
By the way do check out Huddle and Bliss in my last comment and see if you like the site, it's stylish and understated I think.
Thanks for the link O. I'd never heard of Huddle & Bliss before. I love their organic cotton baby range and may buy some of their sleep suits and body suits for babies. My hesitation with the lovely hospital bag is that everything for mamas is white and somehow I think I will need darker colours when in labour and giving birth and wear things I won't mind throwing out afterwards as it can get messy, if you know what I mean ;-)
loved your post on your "shaad"- do you know we threw a baby shower where you were one of the felicitated ?A virtual shaad , if you will!
Awww... cure outfits. Saw your previous post on the hospital bag - totally impressed by your preparedness
Very cute! Have you decide on a bedding approach? Many friends I know have favoured the "bag" rather than the blanket approach. A really nice example is here:

though there others as well...
